The 4 best juicers in 2022

We tested 11 juicers and these 4 are worth the price.

Best Multipurpose Juicer: Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer

Producing rich, velvety juice, the Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer goes beyond what you might expect by being able to double up as a citrus juicer and ice cream maker with attachments.

  • Speed: 60RPM
  • Warranty: 10 year limited on all parts
  • Pros: Versatile, 10-year guarantee on all parts, BPA-free plastic, extra-wide filling opening

Cons: Heavy, some accessories sold separately, cleaning can be time consuming

The Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer is a good investment if you're looking for a device that has four uses: in addition to the juice strainers, there are smoothie and ice cream dessert strainers (both included), and a citrus juicer is sold separately.

The Whole Slow Juicer's 8cm feed opening can handle larger chunks of fruit than our test winner's, and at 60rpm it's a bit faster, but that comes at a price: the Kuvings squeezed less liquid from our fruit and veg, and its wetter pulp indicated pointed out that some good pieces were left in the garbage heap. Still, it was the richest and most consistent juice we've made.

The citrus press attachment is simple and does the job, and while it's more expensive than it needs to be, it's still far more affordable than buying a separate unit.

We made a berry banana smoothie that was consistent, non-frothy, and smoother than anything we've made with a blender before. The frozen dessert sorbet strainer was harder to work with: we've had success with banana gelato, but not much else. It takes a certain degree of freezing (and practice) to make sorbet, gelato, and ice cream as effortlessly as this YouTuber does.

Our main criticism: the chute makes an awkward curve towards the auger, causing delays and difficulty in cleaning.
