How to make vegan almond milk yourself
Almond milk is rich in vitamin E and ideal when unsweetened and fortified. With Kuvings juicers, you can easily make fresh, homemade almond milk!

Almond milk is naturally rich in vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant that helps fight disease. During processing, it is often fortified with calcium and vitamin D, but it remains a poor source of protein.
Unsweetened almond milk is characterized by its low sugar content and high vitamin E content. Sweetened versions, on the other hand, often contain significant amounts of sugar and should be consumed with caution.
Almond milk does not provide adequate amounts of protein, fat, and essential nutrients for infant growth and development. Additionally, many industrially processed products contain additives such as sugar, salt, artificial flavors, thickeners, and carrageenan.

To maximize the health benefits, it is recommended to choose unsweetened, natural almond milk that is fortified with calcium and vitamin D.
However, the best choice remains homemade almond milk. With Kuvings juicers, you can easily prepare it freshly at home.
Preparation:
1. Place the almonds in a bowl and cover them completely with water. Place the bowl in the refrigerator and let the almonds soak overnight or for at least 8 hours.
2. Drain the water and rinse the almonds well.
3. Close the juicer’s smart cap.
4. Place a small amount of almonds into the slow juicer and then add the same amount of water. Repeat this process, alternating between adding almonds and water in small portions. Work slowly so the juicer can thoroughly process the almonds.
5. Open the Smart Cap to drain the freshly pressed almond milk. For a finer consistency, you can strain the milk if desired.
Tip:
Give your almond milk a special touch by adding vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup.
Equipment required:
Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer with installed juice strainer.
No additives: When you drink homemade plant-based milk, you know exactly what you're putting into your body. Unlike commercially available products, there are no added artificial colors, preservatives, sugar, or corn syrup.
Tip: The leftover oats make a great base for delicious, high-fiber cookies or snacks that go perfectly with your milk. Find more ideas in our leftover oat recipes.
