Summer juice with melon & pear

🍈 Melon-pear-lemon juice – summer thirst quencher

Fruity. Fresh. Functional.

When the sun is burning and the air is still, there is hardly anything better than a glass of ice-cold fruit juice – especially when it simultaneously hydrates the body, aids digestion and has a soothing effect on summer flu.
Our recipe with cantaloupe, pear, and lemon is a true all-rounder for hot daysβ€”light, digestible, and full of natural power.

Ingredients (for 1 glass / approx. 350 ml)

  • 230 g cantaloupe (peeled and deseeded)

  • 220 g pear (with peel)

  • 10 g lemon (peeled)

πŸ’‘ Tip: Store the ingredients in the refrigerator until shortly before juicing – this will keep the juice particularly refreshing.

preparation

  1. Peel the melons, remove the seeds and cut into large pieces.

  2. Use pears with the skin on for more fiber and a full-bodied flavor.

  3. Peel the lemon so that the juice doesn't become bitter.

  4. Juice all ingredients in a slow juicer.

  5. Drink straight away or chill for 1 hour before serving.

πŸ”₯ Summer added value

  • Hydration: High water content in melons and pears – perfect in hot weather.

  • Expectorant: Lemon helps with summer flu and sore throats.

Naturally sweet: No added sugar needed – ideal for children and adults.

πŸ’š Nutritional power in a glass

The juice provides the body with important vitamins such as vitamin C (lemon), potassium (melon) and fiber (pear) – ideal for daily well-being in summer.

🌿 Optional summer twist

Add a few fresh mint leaves or a piece of ginger for even more freshness and an invigorating spiciness.
