Homemade fresh almond milk – healthy, creamy and easy!

Whether for coffee, smoothies, muesli or baking – homemade almond milk not only tastes better than store-bought versions, but also contains no additives or preservatives.

How to make your own almond milk:
Ingredients
- 200 g almonds (unpeeled or blanched)
- 1 liter of water
- Optional: 1 date or 1 tsp maple syrup for a slight sweetness
- Optional: 1 pinch of sea salt or a vanilla pod for more flavor
Preparation with the Kuvings Slow Juicer
- Soak almonds overnight (at least 8 hours or up to 24 hours for an even creamier consistency).
- Drain and rinse with fresh water.
- Add almonds and 1 liter of water alternately into the Kuvings Slow Juicer .
- Tip: Work in small batches for best results.
- Open the Smart Cap and let the fresh almond milk run directly into the glass.
- Optionally for a thinner consistency: Filter through a fine sieve or a nut milk bag .
- Keep refrigerated and enjoy within 3-4 days!
Tips for variations
- Chocolate almond milk – Add 1 tbsp cocoa powder & a pinch of cinnamon.
- Coconut-almond milk – Juice 50g of desiccated coconut with the almonds.
- Vanilla almond milk – Add a vanilla bean or vanilla extract.
