Carrot cake pops – delicious and sustainable!
Did you know that you can easily reuse the pulp from your carrot juice? Instead of throwing it away, you can use it to make healthy, sugar-free cake pops—perfect for a sweet snack!
Ingredients for 8 pieces
- 100 g carrot pomace
- 200 g oat flakes
- 100 g Medjoul dates
- 1 tbsp cashew butter
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 pinch of vanilla
- 100 g xylitol chocolate drops
- 2 tsp coconut oil
- 8 cake pop sticks
preparation
1. Place the pomace, oat flakes, pitted dates, cashew butter, cinnamon and vanilla in a blender and blend until smooth.
2. Form balls (approx. 4 cm in diameter) and place them on the sticks.
3. Melt the chocolate drops, stir in the coconut oil and coat the cake pops with the chocolate.
4. Place them in a glass on baking paper until the chocolate has set.
