Carrot Crackers – Zero Waste Snack

Fresh carrot juice from the Kuvings Slow Juicer in the morning? But what do you do with all that carrot pulp? Throw it away? Better not! Instead, turn it into delicious carrot crackers! Perfect for enjoying after work on Friday nights – simple and healthy!

Ingredients:
• 250g carrot pomace
• 100g oats
• 100g chopped nuts
• 30g chia seeds
• 40g sunflower seeds
• 30g sesame seeds
• 200ml water
• 4 tbsp olive oil
• Oregano, basil, thyme, salt

Preparation:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, mix well, and let the mixture rest for 15 minutes. Then knead thoroughly again.
2. When the mixture sticks together and can be formed into a ball, the consistency is just right. Form flat circles and place them on a baking sheet.
3. Bake the crackers at 180 degrees (top/bottom heat) for 40-60 minutes. Tip: Check every 20 minutes for crispiness and gently turn the crackers during the last 15 minutes.
4. Let the crackers cool and store them in a dry place.

Enjoy your homemade crackers and feel good about not wasting anything!
