Pistachio milk and pomace recipe #zerowaste

Did you know that you can easily make plant-based milk with a Kuvings juicer? Choose your favorite nuts and prepare an eco-friendly, delicious, and healthy pistachio milk—and the best part: Instead of wasting the pulp, it's turned into delicious chocolate fudge cookies!


Ingredients for the pistachio milk

  • 100 g pistachios (soak for 6 hours)
  • 50 g dried dates (pitted)
  • 400 ml coconut water

Ingredients for the chocolate fudge cookies

  • Pistachio pomace
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Honey
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • lemon peel

preparation

  1. Prepare pistachio milk : Place the soaked pistachios and dates in the AUTO10S and add the coconut water.
  2. To make chocolate fudge : Use the pistachio pulp left over from juicing and combine it with honey, cocoa powder, salt, and lemon zest. Stir until a thick cookie dough forms. Pour the batter into a mold and refrigerate overnight.
  3. To serve the cookies : Decorate the cookies with pistachios and toasted coconut flakes and serve them with the pistachio milk.
