Homemade tofu

Homemade tofu with the Kuvings AUTO10 – Fresh, simple, plant-based
Homemade tofu with the slow juicer?
Yes – completely without additives, super fresh and surprisingly simple!
With the Kuvings AUTO10, you can not only press juices but also make wonderfully creamy soy milk – the perfect base for homemade tofu.
Tip: When juicing the soaked soybeans, add water gradually. This creates a smooth soy drink with particularly dry pulp—ideal for vegan patties or desserts. The soy milk is already clear and fine—but for an extra silky tofu texture, it's worth filtering it further.

Here's how it works step by step:
- Soak 300 g of soybeans overnight
- Place beans together with about 1 L of water into the Kuvings Juicer (add water gradually)
- Filter the resulting soy milk through a fine sieve or cloth
- Bring to a boil, then stir in the coagulant (25 ml water + ½ tsp salt + 1 tbsp lime juice) and let stand covered for 5 minutes
- Pour the curdled mass into a dish lined with a cloth, add weight and let it rest for about 20 minutes
And voilà: Fresh, homemade tofu – completely free of additives and full of flavor.
Who would have thought that this would work so well with a slow juicer?
