Homemade soy drink

Homemade soy drink – fresh, healthy & vegan

Soy milk is easy to make at home – without additives, rich in plant-based protein, and wonderfully creamy in taste. It's ideal as a milk alternative for coffee, cereal, or baking. With the Kuvings Slow Juicer , it's particularly easy, and you can be sure you're enjoying a pure and fresh drink.

Ingredients:

  • 200 g soybeans
  • Water – amount as desired (for the desired consistency)

Preparation:

  1. Wash the soybeans thoroughly and soak them in plenty of water for at least 8 hours (or overnight). Then drain the water.
  2. Wash the soaked soybeans again and cook in fresh water over medium heat for 20–25 minutes until tender.
  3. Allow to cool until the beans reach room temperature.
  4. Add soybeans and fresh water alternately into the Kuvings Slow Juicer and juice.
  5. For a particularly fine result, run the soy milk through the juicer a second time.
  6. Sweeten slightly to taste, enjoy warm or chill.

Tip: The soy pulp (okara) produced during juicing is perfect for further use—for example, in bread, cookies, or vegetable patties. This makes the recipe not only healthy but also sustainable.
