Most cold-press juicers on the market today boast great features and extensive claims, but how well do they really work, and how long do they actually take to clean? At the Good Housekeeping Institute Kitchen Appliances and Innovation Lab, we've tested over 50 juicers in the past decade alone. We test cold-press juicers by juicing powdery, large-diameter apples that oxidize quickly, soft kale that often clogs machines, and hard and stringy carrots to evaluate each juicer based on power, efficiency, flavor, and temperature.
