Cocoa bliss balls made from almond and cashew pomace
Decorate with some chocolate, salt, cacao nibs and dried (🌸edible) flowers and you have a healthy snack that is also suitable as a gift!
Ingredients (30-40 pieces):
• 130g of almond pomace
• 100g cashew pomace
• 200g dates (pitted)
• 45g hazelnut butter (or other nut butter)
• 40g maple syrup
• 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder
• 1 pinch of salt
• 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
Optional: vanilla extract
For the chocolate layer:
• 15g cocoa powder
• 50g coconut oil
• 1 and 1/2 tablespoon maple syrup
• 1 pinch of salt
toppings:
Salt, cacao nibs, dried edible flowers to taste
Kuving's vacuum blender
Preparation:
1. Put all the ingredients for the Bliss Balls in the Kuvings Vacuum Blender and blend. Form 30 to 40 balls with your hands and place in the freezer.
2. Place the ingredients for the chocolate layer in a bowl and melt in a water bath (do not heat above 48C)
3. Dip the bliss balls in the chocolate and place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
4. Decorate as you like and chill (freezer)!
