Juicing time: 6 minutes
Juice quantity: 700 ml
Sufficient for 3 people
preparation
- Beetroot:
- Halve the beetroot and then cut it into quarters.
- Cut each half into thin slices to make pressing easier.
- Juice the beetroot with the skin on. If you have any, you can also juice the leaves and stems.
- Paprika:
- Remove the green stems.
- Cut the peppers into halves or quarters so that they fit easily into the wide groove of the juicer.
- Remove any excess seeds; these can also be juiced.
- Bean sprouts:
Juice the bean sprouts handful by handful.
Cold press method:
- Start with the bean sprouts and add them to the juicer by the handful. Be careful not to overload the juicer.
- Then add the pepper halves one at a time.
- Lastly, juice the beetroot slices. Add about a quarter of each.
AUTO10S Layering : Start with a layer of bean sprouts, followed by bell peppers and finally beetroot.
Tip : Bean sprouts don't keep well, so juice them soon after purchase. To store them for up to five days, rinse the sprouts in cold water, pat them dry with a paper towel, and store them in an airtight container lined with another paper towel.
